About the event
The first edition of the conference was held in 2018, with the aim of developing a framework for constructive dialogue with government representatives. Such a formula was well received, as evidenced by subsequent editions of the event. The formula made it possible to strengthen the dialogue of an expert nature, oriented towards the acquisition of concepts and solutions useful in the implementation of the objectives for sustainable energy, understood both as system energy and citizen energy.
Areopagus of renewable energy is a platform for communication, the thematic scope and formula of which correspond equally to the needs of market participants, independent experts and expert organizations, as well as representatives of ministries responsible for creating the legal framework of the Polish market for renewable energy sources and sustainable energy transition.
During the next editions of the event, we discuss the most relevant challenges and problems currently facing the industry and local communities. New trends, potentially setting the directions of its development, are also discussed.

The association was established in 2006 on the initiative of Prof. Krzysztof Zmijewski, as a response to the upcoming challenges arising from Poland's accession to the structures of the European Union, and carries out activities with the aim of:
- Increase of the efficiency and competitiveness of the Polish economy, in particular by promoting the use of highly efficient labor, material, energy and environmental resources;
- Comprehensive promotion of information and appropriate action in raising the level of civilization of Poland and its regions, taking into account the principles of sustainable development;
- Promotion and support of the development of modern energy infrastructure and active public participation in the processes of sustainable transformation.
Location of the event and substantive cooperation
